‘Quite different in order to other cafés’: Inside Hi-Tea in Street Albans – The Herts Advertiser

A new espresso and green tea shop within St Albans will blend cuisines from the range associated with different countries and cultures.

Hi-Tea, within the city’s ‘The Maltings’ shopping area, opened on Monday, December 19.

The Herts Advertiser visited the brand new foods and drink shop, to see what the location can bring in order to St Albans.

Throughout the check out, a spokesperson for Hi-Tea explained: “Our business will be quite different to the some other cafés, coffee shops or even bubble tea stores (in Street Albans).

“What we would like to do is create an unique food –  by mixing different cultures’ meals together –  and create the best flavor and best quality, that can be healthy pertaining to the diet plan. “

Hi-Tea already has cafés in the number associated with areas, which includes Reading and London, plus are looking to expand in to a number associated with historic cities in the UK.

The spokesperson continued: “St Albans will be a really unique city around London.

“St Albans is extremely popular and it has a lengthy history, and everyone can gather collectively in the town, especially at the weekend.

“So we were convinced that it  would be an extremely good chance to set upward the branch here.

“We furthermore have (branches) in Cheltenham, and are aiming to open in Oxford and Cambridge, all over the famous towns plus cities within the UK. “

Along with serving foods, as well as a huge variety of tea and espressos, the shop  is also preparing to work cocktails.

As like, a separate cocktail area may be produced within the particular café.

There will be an emphasis on creating healthy food plus drinks.

“Before we fixed up the particular brand, internationally there had been only a few healthy tea pubs.

“Most of them make use of artificial components and mix powders to make their own drinks.

“What we are looking pertaining to is to allow the consumer to enjoy a bubble tea yet still have a healthy drink. “
